                            Final Examination Results

The class average of the raw scores was 112.68 out of 170 possible points
(including the 10 point special challenge problem).

The highest score in the class was 138.

Scaling: take as a percentage of 150, so that a raw score of 111 would be
         entered in the course grade calculation as 74% for the final exam.

Grade scale: as noted in the syllabus, if your final average is 85%,
  you're guaranteed an A, if 81% an A-, if 76.5% a B+, if 72.5% a B,
  if 68.5% a B-, if 64% a C+, if 60% a C, if 57% a C-, and if 50% a D.
