CALL FOR PAPERS    

39th Annual ACM Southeast Conference



  The oldest, continuously running, annual conference of the ACM invites papers in all areas of computer science for each of the following categories:

 
Refereed Papers  Submit electronic copy of paper in Postscript, PDF, or MSWord format, not exceeding 20 double-spaced pages (including references and figures) to the Program Chair by December 10, 2000. These papers will be fully refereed, and author notifications will be emailed by January 15, 2001.

 
Work in progress Submit electronic copy of extended abstract in Postscript, PDF, MSWord, or ascii text, not exceeding 2 double-spaced pages (including references and figures) to the Program Chair by December 10, 2000. Abstracts will be published subject to review by the Program Committee.

 
Student Papers   Submit electronic copy of a paper authored solely by a student(s) in Postscript, PDF, or MSWord format and not exceeding 20 double-spaced pages to the Program Chair by December 10, 2000. These papers will be published subject to review by the Student Paper Competition Committee. All student papers accepted will be entered in the Student Paper Competition. Note faculty advisor's name on cover page.

Published Proceedings will be available at the Conference.
We are unable to accept hardcopy submissions.
 


Topics

This year's ACM Southeast Conference is seeking papers in all major areas of Computer Science (CS) as well as related areas from Computer Engineering (CE) and Management Information Systems (MIS): Foundations (Logic, Automata and Algorithms) Computer Architecture, VLSI, Operating Systems, Languages and Compilers, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Database Management, Information Systems, Computer Graphics and Visualization, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, CSCW, Parallel and Distributed Systems, Simulation, Computational Science, and Bioinformatics.
